I have received more than 3000 unique visitors to both www.taxhavencompany.com and www.cosmetics-hair.com but no conversions.

After feeling dejected and racking my brains for a solution I am back to finding one after a 3 week break not looking at the 2 businesses!

I dont know where to learn about conversions! Must find another internet guru. Maybe my products are not interesting?

Very pathetic. I have been focused entirely on traffic and did not look at conversions. Now I have stopped looking at traffic…

SEO work has brought this site to #9 in Google and now I need conversions!

Average number of pages opened by every unique visitor has gone up to 7 from 2.

The day I send the email out I check the number of unique visitors visiting the website, and waiting for sales. The average number has gone up to 140 / day.

I wonder what the normal conversion ration is?

Hostgator.com was recommended by my Internet Business Guru – David Cavanagh and I went with it.

As I started experimenting with domain registration and different types of websites, I ended up registering 7 names and paid to host 5 of them.

One day a techie told me to just buy a reseller’s package from hostgator and shift my sites to that one! Well, I bought the package and am now struggling to shift the contents.

Backup and restore doesnt work completely as the links and passwords changed for me, so I couldnt open Joomla applications and some pictures wouldnt open! Then I froze – and finally sought professional help. Waiting for the cost.

I am learning something new every day!

During this seminar I bought 2 products – Tom Hua’s guides to Internet business and a promise to market my site through his email list, and David Cavanagh’s Newbie course. I paid more than US$ 5000 for both and then was dissatisfied with what I got for it!

Attending David Cavanagh’s 3 day seminar in Pattaya was quite useful, [and he is great when you can catch him] but I was unhappy with Tom’s down-loadable materials.

But when my site www.taxhavencompany.com was ready and he sent out his email – I got more than 400 visitors on a single day!! Wow. Hats off to him. His marketing is stupendous. I bow to him.

Have to stop myself or I shall forget the what I am getting the money for! But what a feeling. Worth every minute of criticism, defeatist taunts, and depression. Worth every minute of the agony of learning a new business and then working on it 14 hrs a day for the last 8 months.

But, hey! When I am honest with myself I admit that what really gave me joy was the sense of self worth and fulfilment the first check gave me. The rest of the fantasies were just that – fantasies.

 I recommend it to every one.

Feel great about it.

I remember when I first loaded PhPlist on www.cosmetics-hair.com – just the mental time and energy required to install it was enough for me and I took a break of 20 days before I took the next step of creating a list and then creating some messages! 

The brain makes things look easy when you are familiar with them! And a mountain when they are new.

I am here to say that my hosting company – hostgator.com had a backup and restored the site. My CMS password is not working, but I am sure there is a solution to it.

I am accepting the wonderful things that are happening to me today!
