• Led the transition of a functionally organized division into a profit center structure with substantially enhanced cash flows.
• Created an intensive new marketing and distribution network
• Implemented effective, continuous quality improvement systems, enabling two of these new profit centers to achieve the number 1 position in independently conducted customer satisfaction surveys within two years of being rated last.

Tripled output at the Polyester yarn and fiber, Acrylic fiber, and Nylon textile and industrial yarn and fabric manufacturing complex; without increasing the number of employees; through massive decentralized computerization, radically different people management systems, and the ‘de-hassling’ of administrative systems, including a new approach to union negotiations.
• Implemented Rs. 3 bn. of investment in a new manufacturing facility at a different location, where, through new work systems, we reduced by two - thirds, as compared to the plants at Kota, the number of people required to produce synthetic fibers.
